How long from the time you receive your VIN number until you received your vehicle? I just got my VIN yesterday, order was placed on Oct 17.

It depends on your build date, but having a VIN already is a good sign your car is at least in the system.

You can punch your VIN into http://www.etis.ford.com/ to see when your car has been built.

After it's built it will take about another 2-3 weeks for delivery.

How did you get your VIN? I called my sales guy yesterday and said I didn't have a VIN yet. I also ordered on oct 17th.

just a heads up!

i called another dealer yesterday (in toronto) to ask them how long it would take to factory order a fiesta st, he told me: "straight up, you're looking at a 4 month wait"... in my opinion though, things should happen a lot quicker now, you're probably looking at 3 months from order to delivery depending on the allocation of your dealer. if you're in a rush to get it, find one off the lot, otherwise be prepared for the wait times.

Wow! My dealer told me 6 weeks... They probably have no idea... This is going to be my winter car so I hope it won't be 3 months, my other car is not made for snow! Arrrrgh that's not what I wanted to hear.
