Wow! My dealer told me 6 weeks... They probably have no idea... This is going to be my winter car so I hope it won't be 3 months, my other car is not made for snow! Arrrrgh that's not what I wanted to hear.

Keep in mind Thibs, he's in Ontario. Its a bit quicker in the states.

Thibs, if you're willing to take a drive to Toronto I can give you a number to a dealer that has a black one on the lot, they called me last week and left a message. If you really need the car ASAP, you should probably go for it. Or you can contact your dealer and have them do a search in their system for something as close as possible to what you wanted.

Thanks for your help. Both my parents are retired so I'm going to borrow one of their cars until it comes in. My last 2 cars were black, I really like the way this car looks in white so I'm going to be as patient as I can.

I think Ford has finally streamlined their ordering process a bit.

Good news! My ETA just got bumped up by about two weeks. Now I'm being told it will be here around Dec. 12 instead of Dec.24th.

See some people from Ontario waiting for their orders. Here's my timeline -

Order date - Sept 25 (no options - performance blue)
VIN - Nov 19
Build date - Dec 3

ETA - 3-4 weeks after build date.

The holidays may add a few days to the transport time, but I don't imagine it would make to much of an impact. CSX seems to be on the ball as far as scheduling and delivery goes.

Thanks. My WS was printed on 25 Nov, for a moment I thought they built it before time! For Ford, it takes anywhere from 6-10 days after that date when the car is actually built.

Canadian WSs have an error though - the AC says 'manual' for some reason.
