I was just joking, but yes, the first thing you need to do when you get into your edit screen is to save the current settings.
Oh trust me I watched that video....it was very informative even though he made some minor mistakes during it

OK, so connected up to ForScan yesterday for the first time in a while and wish I had double-checked this Fiesta specific spreadsheet instead of going straight to the F-150 one to try to play around with DRL's... What's tough about the DRL settings is I didn't know parking brake had to be off so I assumed that all the settings failed to do anything, so you absolutely need a 2nd person to check for you. You can't just get out with the car in neutral as even most garages with a perfectly flat floor don't have enough lighting to try what the settings do for DRL's with switch on Auto, as the headlights come on... Also... I could have sworn I didn't see a BCM module to adjust at all, it appears that every setting that says "BdyCM Backup" on the spreadsheet is actually under IPC? But now that I know that parking brake has to be off for the DRL settings, I'll try with my kid verifying for me tonight after work. Since I'd like to get some switchbacks, I'd really like to use the parking lights as DRL's that come on always in Auto, preferably, but 2nd choice would be in "Off", third choice and too annoying for me would be to have to manually select parking lights every time I start the car just to get the switchback DRL effect.

I got this to work on mine and like you said the parking brake must be off for you to verify that the new setting worked. I don't remember the number change I made but I'm sure I got it from the F150 spreadsheet. It's under "dipped headlights" if I remember correctly. I remember not knowing what they meant but dipped just means a lower voltage to the headlights to run them as DRLs. I wanted to be better seen in my small blue car and was happy when I got it to work.

Yeah, that's that option 3 right on this OP's Fiesta spreadsheet, but not the option I want since I have LED's that aren't low voltage compliant and I am trying to get switchbacks to work as DRL's. Switchbacks are simply LED bulbs that do white and amber in place of the front amber parking light/turn signal... So I have to check again and see if they have the parking/marker lights as a DRL option there too, the F-150's have that BCM that can be modified for a bunch of different light options, butdon't think we have the option I want available at all but I'll check again tonight.

And not sure what OP means by "BdyCM Backup" as you can see there is no BCM related module at all, I think just about everything under "BdyCM Backup" you can access right in the main IPC Central Configuration with drop down selections and no AS BUILT digit changes... In other news, I cannot get the clock to come on while not in AA, it always boots straight to the climate tab and cannot get the radio to stay on after ignition no what option I try there... And yeah, I work at Intel and always back up the firmware before flashing on our test systems but didn't backup my settings... If someone has a '17 with non-nav and no Recaro package, no options at all other than maybe the black wheels, I'd love your default settings!

People who already own a jack, should already own a wheel chock of some sort. But then, you can even use a sturdy brick as a wheel chock. Got a hand-mirror and a large enough shipping box? Set the box up on its ends and poke a slot using the hand mirror. Could even just tape some white sheets of paper to the shipping box if it's dark. The little black dome on center dash under the windshield can be covered and uncovered as needed.

Screenshots of the Ford As Built file for my ā€˜17, no nav, no Recaros FiST. I would have sent the file, but it wonā€™t open on my Mac or PC.

Thanks man! I ended up finding that site too, what is weird is that I think it just gives you the last working config it saves when your car checks for Sync updates or something, it actually had my climate screen, Sirius delete and other changes! Still can't get my radio for 10 minutes after ignition is off or ANY other minute setting, really weird! So yeah, maybe I'll use yours and see what's different and maybe I can get that back, but at least I have it back to booting to audio screen instead of straight to climate tab and the clock is back too.

Well, I was trying to go for different DRL settings, especially with lights on Auto so I had to check while it was still decently bright but I had my son look for me and we don't have squat for DRL options other than with the low beam halogens (which I don't even have halogens any more) and I wanted to try to set them for switchbacks and we just don't have the module like the F-150's unfortunately... so literally, the only way to use switchbacks is manually select parking lights, at least now I know for sure.

Yes, my radio stays on until I open the door. I havenā€™t timed it, but ten minutes sounds about right.

The changes Iā€™ve made since that file I sent are:

ST splash screen
Climate control on screen (voice activated too)

It already had Ford Fiesta for Bluetooth pairing and the Sony sound disabled. I guess they came that way in ā€˜17. Remember- that is the As Built file, so it should be the way it was when new.

I'm telling you bro, I looked mine up and my changes were saved on there, I swear... weird but my theory is the AS BUILT actually updates over the air somehow as I definitely had Sirius to start with and had to change that number from 2 to 0 (and the stereo sound clearly changed)... so that and along with my climate tab and ST screen changes are on there too...

Nothing I found. Seems we don't have access to the module through FORScan or don't even have it in the car that others can change.

So is there any way to get the low outdoor temp warning light on the instrument panel to turn on? Would be rather neat to have that functional like my gf's gti does stock. Also neat to see we have global windows as an option.

Don't know about that light, but would be nice. I would think it's a country code somewhere.

As for global windows, the Fiesta can't do it. We would need Auto windows in each door.

I noticed the cold weather lamp when flashing my tune onto the car. It always bugs me when the car has an option thats used over seas but not programmed to work on a car sold in the upper midwest, lol.

After digging through the forum looking for Forscan settings, then digging through Explorer and F-Series and Fusion forums, I dedided to pull it all together into one editable spreadsheet. Feel free to make your own contributions. If the format starts getting all mucked up, I will have to restrict it.

You can find the spreadsheet at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16AV73FgxPnA15FdD30WQj-2NpqInSXTlRvccwJIKZTk/edit?usp=sharing
You may want to put in your original post that this is for Sync 3 vehicles as the first 2 years of FiST production (2014/15) had Sync 2 and I'm not sure if the setting are the same for Sync 2 as they are for Sync 3.

I will be buying a dongle to connect the car to my wifes laptop so I can change some settings.

Im mainly interested in changing the theme to the GT theme and to disable the door chime (doo-doo-doo sounds). I saw in the spreadsheet that there is no setting to disable the door chime - is this correct?

I did see it as an option in the F-150 spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...iVSlDFGFHnfeuhb3RTMVz95730/edit#gid=815852466

Being that they are 'common settings' I would assume they'd be the same but I dont know if those apply to our cars or not.. Anyone have the setting to turn that door chime off on the Fiesta? I feel like a lost fish reading the forscan forums lol.
