I've already been pre-qualified for 0% @ 60 months. I'm also putting $2,000 down. Yeah, will be doing that, stupid cheap.
A few items...

Make sure you get everything in writing from no less than the sales manager before committing that much time and money. Window sticker and paperwork with all charges outlined, and an agrerment that they'll hold the vehicle should be included.

Make sure they outline the condition of the vehicle, have them tell you why that car is a special case in pricing and that you're OK with whatever reason they have. There are other 14's on their lot with no discounts so extreme. Ask why.

Also, I know it's SoCal and all, but their site lists 45 FiSTs in stock. Wtf?

Just got an email from a LA dealer, 2015, red or black with sunroof & Nav for $19500 last day today.
Too bad they are the wrong color for me.

Wouldn't doubt it. Grody finally caught on and bought a bunch of them. At least 10-15 out there right now.

Damn this is frustrating.

Dallas won't deal.

Houston has an Oxford White with Recaros only, won't come down much at all.

AZ salesman is being an idiot with numbers. $454/mo for 72 months?! he didn't even mention the 0.0% for 60 like the others, so they are out.

Trying to get another dealer in the Dallas area to give me $500 under invoice, $1000 rebate and 0.0% for 60. I'd have to get it ordered, but I'm ok with it :hs:

See the sticker here

Maxwell Ford has a Blue and Red one.

Not fully loaded, just the Recaro package. I really wish it had the painted wheels/calipers, which is all I want. Don't need nav or sunroof :hs:
You don't need the painted calipers, I have it and hate it because it really shows the brake dust. You can probably score some used painted wheels on this forum for cheap or just go aftermarket.

True. It's not a dealbreaker. Yes, I can take them off and to a guy for a nice powdercoat and do wheels as well when the tires are gone. I'm just wondering if that is a good deal. Also, it has a front license plate bracket. Are these drilled into the bumper and will it look like ass when I remove it? Thanks!

Since TX law requires front plates, 99% of Texas Fiesta ST will have front license plate mounts, that's how they come from the factory unless you special order them without. Even worse they are riveted in and need to be drilled out for removal. If you search this forum someone posted a how to guide.

I'm aware of that and would prefer to still not have them. That's a damn shame. Bumper is ruined from the factory :hs:

Yeah, it's total B.S. that Ford does this from the factory. My salesman assures me they don't come installed and that his techs will be ordered not to install one. I don't think he knows how the ST game is played. I'd feel kinda dickish asking them fix it since he specifically assured me there would be no issues. It's ridiculous this is even an issue for us to worry about or fight. They should be dealer installed period. My family's five other new cars of recent years were arranged to be sold without front plates and thus unscathed bumpers.

I wonder if FordService has any insight. My salesman says he could not submit the order without the front plate option while within Virginia. I wonder if this can be overridden on ordered cars by the right people. I'd be a very happy camper if mine came with no bracket preinstalled.

Otherwise I guess it's Bondo and Langka time for me when the car comes home. Sure hope Green Envy touch up is easy to match...

They make color matched bumper plugs, they work great. Not the same as an unmolested bumper but not very noticeable nonetheless.

EDIT: beat me to it^

Hi Gonzo,

I'm not 100% sure about where and when the front plate is put on, but I do know it's a requirement for some states, so that may factor in.

As far as touch-up paint...check out this link.

I think they can do better. Oxford White with Smoke Gray Recaros. I'm pretty sure they can do better.
