Finally got my COE motor mount installed. That was the last of the 3 mounts. I also discovered my transmission vent plug has been missing for some time. I also got my headlight body side connectors repinned for the Euros coming in tomorrow.

I walnut blasted the valves today. At 110k they weren’t as bad as I thought they would be, especially considering that I used to run 87 octane when I used my car for door dash. I had an oil catch can from when I bought it at 42k until around 85k.

Also walnuts got all over everything lol. If I do it again I would definitely try to make an adapter like this guy . . .

Heres what my engine bay looks like . . .

Here’s the media blaster I used https://www.harborfreight.com/air-t...20-lb-pressurized-abrasive-blaster-68994.html
I got the fine walnut shells from harbor freight as well.
Unfortunately, the walnut blasting didn’t fix my misfiring issue.

We’ll find out soon lol. I don’t think it’ll be a problem, there’s plenty of clearance.
The Cpe is 2.75 and Whoosh is 2.5* I could not for the life of me get the CPE to fit with a Mountune radiator.

I don’t know if your intake manifold spacer for aux fuel impacts that clearance. It seems like it would since it pushes everything forward.

Hope everyone is having a great 4th! Really cool people on here, appreciate all of you whether you're active or just lurking.

And god forbid you wanted to scoot by Sheetz for some ethanol not knowing about that whole situation. Not sure how local that $1.77 gallon promo is but damn they've been backed up since 3am.

I went to a Sheetz at around 10pm and all the pumps were out lol. I bet they were all slammed with gas being that cheap!

Had my brand new driver's side door panel which I picked up for $140 shipped fitted today. Dealer wanted over $400 not including tax. Just waiting for the grab handle cover coming from SC in the next week or so. $18 shipped, dealer wanted $35 plus tax! Was sick and tired of seeing the JB Weld glue holding the handle in place. My patience paid off!

Needed to replace my brakes, so while the wheels were off and the car was up on stands, I threw these on:

Curious: doing the trac bar on jack stands, were you able to tighten the control arm bolts per spec? If I remember right it was a torque spec (like 90 ft-lb or something) then 180 deg. I have an 18” 1/2” drive breaker bar and got maybe 90 deg rotation. I’m not worried about it really. But curious how you fared.
