Also the engine side mount would have a more accurate fuel temperature reading since it would be measuring it inside the engine bay where it gets the hottest

Wiring won't be the issue, finding a logical, easily accessed location for the sensor was what I was trying to find... I'm using this guide to save myself a few hundred dollars lol

Finally got my vehicle registration certificate today in Italy. So in 5 days i'll be the proud owner of a Fiesta ST 1.6 😍😍😍😍.
aaaand i got it home
I have just a few things to sort out, like a very weird noise coming from the rear left wheel and the fact then when i stop the car and wait for a little while, there's a really weird noise coming from the hvac zone. Clutch and motor mounts already sorted out so that's very good

'really weird noise coming from the hvac zone...' welcome to blend door madness - there are hundreds of posts to review and determine your approach. Its actually a gear-driven flap which redirects air - floor, defrost, panel and fails...there are 2 (3?) to deal with. Underdash, blind, fingertip access only.

Do you know if it has the resonator?
It does. It's not obnoxiously drone-y in the cabin and when it gets warmed up I get the occasional pop on closed throttle. Sometimes I think the tips are too big for the car and sometimes I think they're fine. I'd have to ask my wife if it's louder than the FSWerks exhaust on my old Focus (which I didn't think was THAT loud.)

I’ve been eyeballing the one with titanium tips for a long time. I don’t want to ruin the driving experience though.

Holy crap!

I just installed the Cobb exhaust on my ‘19. The previous over did a resonator delete with an AutoZone exhaust repair kit.

The Cobb exhaust is amazing. First thing I noticed is how much quieter it idles and cold starts. There’s zero drone, and the sound is much deeper and refined. The car feels smoother, but it could just be my imagination. Downshifts feels smoother and rev matching is easier. Also could be my imagination. I had no idea how much it would improve the car. I’m on the stock tune.

The hardest part of the install was pulling the polyurethane exhaust hangers off the stock exhaust. The install was super easy once all the old parts were off.

I’m planning on an intake, intercooler and a stage one tune sometime next month. I’m considering doing the radiator while I have the bumper off. It would be nice to have no overheating worries, because this summer in Colorado is shaping up to be insanely hot.

I'm thinking about doing the radiator too
At idle I reach 95 degrees Celsius

Had some weird stutter and hang this weekend. Was worried it was my HPFP cam bucket. Took that apart yesterday and everything looked nice and new still. Today could smell some oil, opened the hood and couldn't see any major oil spray. Noticed a small amount of oil around the A/C line, but I usually see a few drops in the area but never thought anything of it, always thought maybe some blow by. Look up onto my hood and see a massive splotch in one spot. Soo my vacuum line is toast, time for that catch can I've been putting off.

Also ordered some new RE71RS tires and an Ethanol gauge and sensor.

I installed the 2014 evap purge kit on my 2017 along with a black whoosh silicone intake.
I cleared the ecu , and so far so good, no CEL, no stalling, no hard starts.
*fingers crossed

Got the catch can in. Built a bracket that bolts onto the alternator and then cut up some hoses. Going to order a 90 degree elbow for the manifold side of the can. It doesn't kink when heated as I went for a fairly spirited drive and the car drove great, but I'd rather not risk it during autocross. The hoses are a tight fit with where I mounted it, doesn't impact the hood under load either as I tested that too. Only major downside is I have to remove the bolts holding the can to the mount to drain it.

All in all, not bad for a fun little $50 dollar project. Wish I could find these dumb connectors though somewhere. I re-used the ones from the broken hose.

The spot where the OEM hose split.

Side view of the mount, This bolts into the long M10 bolt the alternator has.

My messy engine bay and the hose on the left I'm going to replace with a 90 slightly downwards. (doesn't impact the hood under heavy load)

And the goodie I was hoping would arrive today my E content reader so I stop mathing out when I mix E98 and 92 to get my E50. But its not going in yet as I think I'm going to pillar mount this and a 35psi boost gauge.

@Bull Run are you using some fancy HS/MS obd reader?
Not sure on the context but if you are asking for Forscan, I'm using OBDLink EX. For day-to-day monitoring, I'm using the Accessport.

EDIT: I see the post you were referring to. For that project, I used OBDLink MX, which uses blue tooth to send data to the phone/tablet.
