Also the engine side mount would have a more accurate fuel temperature reading since it would be measuring it inside the engine bay where it gets the hottest

Wiring won't be the issue, finding a logical, easily accessed location for the sensor was what I was trying to find... I'm using this guide to save myself a few hundred dollars lol

Finally got my vehicle registration certificate today in Italy. So in 5 days i'll be the proud owner of a Fiesta ST 1.6 😍😍😍😍.

I have just a few things to sort out, like a very weird noise coming from the rear left wheel and the fact then when i stop the car and wait for a little while, there's a really weird noise coming from the hvac zone. Clutch and motor mounts already sorted out so that's very good

'really weird noise coming from the hvac zone...' welcome to blend door madness - there are hundreds of posts to review and determine your approach. Its actually a gear-driven flap which redirects air - floor, defrost, panel and fails...there are 2 (3?) to deal with. Underdash, blind, fingertip access only.

It's a Mishimoto with black tips the previous owner installed. I don't hate it. I haven't heard the Thermal to compare it to though.

Installed a Vibra-Technics fast road RMM during an oil change. Now saving for the other two mounts, intercooler and pipes.

It does. It's not obnoxiously drone-y in the cabin and when it gets warmed up I get the occasional pop on closed throttle. Sometimes I think the tips are too big for the car and sometimes I think they're fine. I'd have to ask my wife if it's louder than the FSWerks exhaust on my old Focus (which I didn't think was THAT loud.)

Holy crap!

I just installed the Cobb exhaust on my ‘19. The previous over did a resonator delete with an AutoZone exhaust repair kit.

The Cobb exhaust is amazing. First thing I noticed is how much quieter it idles and cold starts. There’s zero drone, and the sound is much deeper and refined. The car feels smoother, but it could just be my imagination. Downshifts feels smoother and rev matching is easier. Also could be my imagination. I had no idea how much it would improve the car. I’m on the stock tune.

The hardest part of the install was pulling the polyurethane exhaust hangers off the stock exhaust. The install was super easy once all the old parts were off.

I’m planning on an intake, intercooler and a stage one tune sometime next month. I’m considering doing the radiator while I have the bumper off. It would be nice to have no overheating worries, because this summer in Colorado is shaping up to be insanely hot.

Had some weird stutter and hang this weekend. Was worried it was my HPFP cam bucket. Took that apart yesterday and everything looked nice and new still. Today could smell some oil, opened the hood and couldn't see any major oil spray. Noticed a small amount of oil around the A/C line, but I usually see a few drops in the area but never thought anything of it, always thought maybe some blow by. Look up onto my hood and see a massive splotch in one spot. Soo my vacuum line is toast, time for that catch can I've been putting off.

Also ordered some new RE71RS tires and an Ethanol gauge and sensor.
