I wouldn't put that much salt in the car 😂. It's actually Boca Chica Beach in Brownsville, TX. It was cool driving around with so much open space on the beach and no one around
Aligned a locals FiST that has been looking for handling gains with ST STX coilovers. Increased the front camber to -2.5, +4 caster & 0 toe.The owner wants to look at installing my old rear spring (8” Swift 6k) setup to help with response and rotation. I’ll be going to 7k rear springs while still using off the shelf Bilstein B6 on BC adjusters shortly. View attachment 70388 View attachment 70389

I haven't done it yet but at some point today I am marching outside to track down whatever the god damn fuck has started rattling around near my passengers' side footwell and gluing it into place even if it is structurally important. It is driving me insane.
Out of curiosity I installed 7k springs on the rear & the B6 damping seems unbothered, probably should have tried 8k…
The front struts reached their limit at 4.3k…
Anyways, the car is smoother and responds quicker with a better balance of grip compared to the 6k springs I was running for the last 18 months/40k+ miles. View attachment IMG_6896.jpeg
You guys in those super hot states need one of those windshield sunshades.
It's been pretty hot here in North Carolina, up to 104° one day, and having one of those really helped.

They can definitely help keep you from burning your hand on the steering wheel or your butt on the seat.
It also can't be doing the interior materials of your car any good being that hot.
Where is the temp sensor in these cars? I've noticed it's always higher than my weather app by a decent amount, but things are pretty moderate here in So Cal.
