Aligned a locals FiST that has been looking for handling gains with ST STX coilovers. Increased the front camber to -2.5, +4 caster & 0 toe.The owner wants to look at installing my old rear spring (8” Swift 6k) setup to help with response and rotation. I’ll be going to 7k rear springs while still using off the shelf Bilstein B6 on BC adjusters shortly.

I wouldn't put that much salt in the car πŸ˜‚. It's actually Boca Chica Beach in Brownsville, TX. It was cool driving around with so much open space on the beach and no one around
You almost did go literally to Mexico (not the figurative land everyone mentions for logging/tuning/street racing functions).

I haven't done it yet but at some point today I am marching outside to track down whatever the god damn fuck has started rattling around near my passengers' side footwell and gluing it into place even if it is structurally important. It is driving me insane.

Out of curiosity I installed 7k springs on the rear & the B6 damping seems unbothered, probably should have tried 8k…

The front struts reached their limit at 4.3k…

Anyways, the car is smoother and responds quicker with a better balance of grip compared to the 6k springs I was running for the last 18 months/40k+ miles.
