Safe aftermarket LED headlight bulb info, finds and discussion

I used the dust caps in the OP (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073QPGZ92 85mm), and just had to trim off the inner lip with an x-acto knife. They're on plenty tight with just the friction from the outer lip, and haven't moved at all.
These are one of the sets I bought. I actually thought about trimming the inner rim and trying to stretch fit. Good to hear you made it work. I will say havent had any issues without the dust caps. Though normally only drive it when its beautiful out.

I trimmed the inner ring like you mentioned. They went on like a glove. Thanks for confirming this as it got me off my lazy butt to finally do it.
