The little Abarth sounds like a right terror, and I'd own one on the side. But it's not quite as finely honed in important ways as the ST. And the aftermarket is utterly barren. Pedal box.... OOoOOoOoOoOH Piggyback.... OOoOOooOoOh.
Yeah but I love my cobb exhaust. I'm happy. Ha. And I can't imagine the aftermarket being too deep.

I love the exhaust on the Abarth, annnnnd that's all. I'm a tech for Chrysler, which is owned by Fiat, and my particular dealer also services Fiat. They. Are. The. Biggest. Pieces. Of. Shit. Ever. Seriously, trim pieces breaking under 4,000 miles, headliners coming loose, the 1.4 multiair isn't reliable at all. Big ol glass of NO.
The intake cam isn't there in the multiair. It's a bunch of electronically controlled solenoid that actuate the intake cams. Seeing that system mess up, and not actuating solenoids is very common, and leaves the engine with 0 compression.

:)

I put 50k on a 1.4T dart (Limited, every single box ticked) and smiled for most of it, except when the TCM messed up thrice and the DCT decided it would slack off on shifts consistently. It was a good car (outside of those little spiritual moments thanks to Italian heritage) and sounded the dickens good.

I also had the misfortune of being stuffed into a rental 1.4 NA 500 for a week. What a pile. I would have rather have been given a Mirage.

I accomplished a lot on my car today with the help of sikesssst and D1JL. We installed my fender stripes(thanks D1JL), tb midship brace, painted my engine cover fixed my hoodstripe, painted my base model spoiler and realigned my exhaust tip. We also painted 2 more engine covers, a mountune intake, and laid a lot of vinyl. It was a fun mini meet/mod day/bbq at my place.

Installed the turbosmart bov. A lot quieter than the boomba adapter. I really like it. Sorry boomba.

Super jealous. Looks like a good time.
Yes, a good time was had by all.

Earlier in the day I was able to install my custom Lateral Braces.
So all in all it was a very productive day.

Installed the Kenwood KSC-SW11 compact powered subwoofer underneath the driver's seat. Straightforward install, loving the improvement in the low-end frequencies, didn't sacrifice any trunk storage space by putting it under the seat. I chose the driver's seat because the passenger one moves back and forth more often, and if there is someone sitting in the backseat, they'll be behind the passenger, so this keeps their footwell clear. The thump underneath the seat is not distracting at all, trust me.

Did you just tap into the signal from the factory speakers? I want to do this as well, but not all that confident in my ability. I was a wiz with car audio when I was younger, not sure so much now.

If you've done it when you were younger this should be no problem!

I used this "overview" http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/...Subwoofer-Install-Overview-(Kenwood-KSC-SW11)

You'll need to buy a few other things if you want to follow this method, namely the fusetaps and I did buy some bullet connectors, too.

Basically you can ground using a bolt on the floor by left-front of the driver's seat, tap power into the fuse for climate control, tap signal into the fuse for moonroof (even if you don't have moonroof you can use this slot), then tap into the (+) and (-) wires for both the left and right rear speakers.

Hide all of the wires inside the trim panels/under the rear set cushions, secure your remote somewhere out of the way but accessible, velcro the woofer to the floor, and there you go!

I tapped the (+) and (-) wires for the left rear speaker on the left B-pillar and the (+) and (-) wires for the right rear speaker on the right B-pillar, so there weren't four different taps on the one side. Two on one side, two on the other.

Took about 2.5 hours, but that was literally the first sub (powered or otherwise) I'd ever installed.

Installed Ray's Eng. black lugs today. Our bolt pattern sucks but at least we have a conical seat on the wheels so we can use aftermarket lugs.

Well my clicking clutch has came back again. It was fixed by my dealership but has came back, and I think it's even worse. Looks like I'll be talking to Megan shortly. I hate taking my car in, mainly because they don't give out rentals at this dealership and the ST is my only car. And last time they had it I was on vacation, and it took them the whole week I was gone to fix it.

This clutch is just really pissing me off. I've had this car for almost 2 years now and it's only thing I dislike about the car. And nobody can seem to fix it. The first dealership I took it to even said all ST models, including the Focus, make the clicking noise. Which is a complete lie because I even went out to their lot and tried 2 of their Focus STs, and guess what? No clicking. They sounded just like a normal clutch; smooth and quiet.

Hopefully this time will be the last I have to go through this.

I'm sorry to hear that man because for me personally nobody had been able to fix it. So if you figure it out please let me know. I'll have my fingers crossed that my dealership can figure something out that works permanently this time.

It will annoy the shit out of you. At least it does me. I drive in the city and shift a lot daily and I hear it every shift, and even feel it sometimes. And it's just embarrassing to be honest. Having somebody ride in your car and it clicking every time you push the clutch.
