Test fit my new Team Dynamics wheels. Cannot wait for the tires to arrive Tuesday!
[twothumb]

I wish that they had offered the 1.2s in that slight concave configuration back when they still had 16s and 17s for sale for our rides. [wink]

That's all I would need for a street, summer wheel.

Picked up some ST150 OEM rims for a steal of a deal (they’re hens teeth, the center caps are like 2 hens teeth!) for R3500 ZAR (210USD) Now to spray them white to keep to my theme. Also need to look for center caps which will be harder than finding the rims, which was already difficult. Only 1 has curb rash. They’re painted very badly by the original owner with rattle can black. Came with 5 free tires, a towing eye and 20 wheel nuts. The tires are in horrible shape, barring the 1 unmounted one

Prepping my cad for a major meet up this weekend. The ford st brand has been discontinued in South Africa due to our poor fuel quality. So we (the CPT ST CRW) in partnership with cars.co.za are doing a little episode on the brand as a whole. More than 150 STs and RSs are set to be attending. There will be an appearance of a Mk1 RS (the only one in the country) which was specially imported by the owner, the same owneer is bringing his Mk2 RS, which happens to be the fastest MK2 RS in the world with a staggering 850wkw give or take. Super excited

Got my big mouth installed. Scraped up my left hand a ton on the condenser until I grabbed my extended needle nose pliers and came from over the radiator and problem solved.

Tomorrow I'll tackle the ITG intake. If I can't get the harness situation figured out then the stock airbox goes back in. Either way, big mouth looks cool so I'm happy

So it's kinda based on my previous post - WTF gas do you use? I discovered "west of Coatesville" as the land of fueling opportunities, but i was "Bro'd".
Can you explain in comic book form?

What 'theme' is that, BTCC-type touring car, or rally?

When you say Mk1 and Mk2 I take it you are referring to FOCI (Focuses?), and not the old, NA, RWD Escorts, correct?

Yup, referring to focuses. And what do you mean by your first question? Apologies for not understanding
You mentioned painting the old Mk2 RS/ST150 wheels white as a 'theme' thing in your post above.

I was just wondering if you were trying to replicate the BTCC 'look', or the tarmac rally car 'look', that's all. [wink] [thumb]

Ahh I understand now. My car actually came with white wheels from the previous owner so I Just kept it that way I guess, it’s unique , I don’t know another fiesta st in my crew with white wheels so it sets me apart

Got the ITG intake installed and yeah, definitely needs a few adjustments for the USDM FiST. Fitment is way more of a hassle than it should be.

As expected, temps are considerably better than the ramair intake or the stock airbox. The peak temp I saw was 117° versus 141° just last week in similar conditions. At highway speeds the temps were +/- 1-2° ambient versus 15-30° above ambient for the ram air. For reference, the stock air box was only about 3-5% better than the ramair intake temps and that's likely attributed to the stock air scoop so yes, the ITG/Peron design is an improvement but hard to justify the price given fitment.

It's just as loud as the ramair intake, possibly a bit deeper and less overt at parking lot speeds, so a win there.
