That bolt was the hardest part. I’ll get the bumper back on tomorrow.
I buttoned up the front end.

The only issue I saw when I turned it on before I took it off the jackstands was a fog light I forgot to plug back in. Next steps is rear door speakers and dynamat, rear subframe bushings and chasing the leaks that are soaking my rear passenger carpet. Might as well dynamat the roof if I pull the headliner.

My springs, isolators and rear axle bushings finally came in.............an hour before I had to leave for 2 days, so I drove the Rabbit into Dallas. Got the FiST in "hover mode" (up on jack stands with the wheels off). Freakin USPS strikes again. Those parts were supposed to be in on the 29th and got delayed, they got to Coppell on the 29th, sat there for a few days, went to Dallas, sat there for a few days, then were "in transit" for 3 days to the post office hub in my town, which is only an hour drive from Dallas. I always sigh when I see someone shipping me something via the Post Office.

Want to be able to haul my big bike with my little car so I installed a Curt hitch. Legit half hour install, would be 10min on a hoist.
I forgot the hitches for both the Fiesta and Rabbit are at the house waiting to go on. Guess I'll be doing that while I have the car up on stands as well :D I forgot to order the trailer wiring though, I'll have to drop an order for that.

I have no plans to tow a trailer so I didn't bother with wiring. Just a small bike rack so I don't have to use my gas guzzler to go ride.

And people say the fiesta isn't practical... Purchased some suction cup mounted roof rails and kayak mounts! Works surprisingly good, I don't have much faith in the cups but they held up in decent cross winds 🤷🏼‍♂️ 1000006096.jpg
