Not many pics of gold Titans on the forum. Here's my contribution. I did have the same issue as others with the rear caps not fitting; these are the 17x7.5s. I am going without until I figure that out. Regardless, I LOVE the look paired with Eibach springs.

This looks great. Which brand and size tires are you running?

Thanks!
I'm still running the stockers which can easily stretch over 7.5s. Next summer I will need to purchase fresh rubber. I'm looking at the Federals folks have talked quite a bit about in other threads. I haven't researched the best size yet though.

Just purchased a set of these in 17x8 in (et+45 and FiST hub bore size) Royal Sports Bronze!

Gonna run my winters (205/40/17) on them until next season, then will probably throw on a set of Indy 500s once my ZIIIs are toast (4/32 now, not much life left).

Agree. I'll try and baby them this winter lol. I'm just at 4/32 on my ZIII on my Sparcos and dont really feel like paying someone to dismount and then remount them next spring when they are so worn w/ a little life left.

Next year these Titans will eventually be regular summer daily duty

Finally got around to installing these today.
17x8 Rota Titan, +45 offset, 63.35 hub bore (FiST size). Suspension is Bilstein PSS with very moderate drop.

Fitment is great...flush with fenders and I've got about 5mm clearance in the front from the strut body.

Tires are 205/40/17 Blizzak WS80. Yes they are stretched pretty bad but it'll work. Probably the silliest winter setup ever, but I love the way it looks! In spring i'll swap out the Blizzaks for something in 215/40/17.

So I bought a set of these about 6 months ago, I didn't get a chance to get some decent shots:

Yes they are very light, 17x7.5 and just over 16lbs, the 2 pictures I have don't do it justice...they look absolutely amazing. Noooow for the bad news: 2 weeks after getting them I ran over a muffler at about 80mph. I'll won't jump on any bandwagon one way or another but I'll say this:

  • I ran over a muffler that JUST fell off a truck doing 80mph
  • It was the most violent thing I've experience in a car outside of a full accident
  • The car (and I guess driver) where in complete control. It tracked straight as an arrow, I've had flats that were more dramatic
  • I was able to calmly and smoothly get to the shoulder

Front Wheel...took the brunt of it and crushed the muffler

Rear Wheel...not as bad:

I know there are Rota haters out there that will surely jump in and say: "see...told you they were crap". If anyone has any data/pix on $3000 forged rims running over a muffler at 80mph I'd love to see the "damage". I'd have NO hesitation buying these again. Why you ask? I'm alive and there is not 1 other scratch on the car, as far as I'm concerned they did their job and NO rim would have survived that. I've personally seen $3000 Volk get their asses handed to them with less of an impact. The only reason I didn't buy 2 more is they were on back order so bought these instead:

That being said I have 2 in mint shape...guess I should try to sell them sooner or later.

Enjoy the carnage!!
Are those hyper black rotas? Some pictures im seeing are more shiny than others, which I like.

Here we are in direct blazing sunlight:

Not entirely sure how I feel about the color. I think the wheel style/design is great for the car. Weight is great. Maybe a little too blingy and not enough contrast with the Magnetic. Definitely wayyyy too little tire. The stock tire is crazy stretched. Looking forward to getting some beefier tires. The car is not low enough for this fitment I feel. I'll likely go with the BC coilovers down the road. I guess I should've just bit the bullet to begin with.
