Why is your power so low?
You have the lowest power I have ever seen so I'm confused.

I understand it's the setting you are using.

The mustang dyno correction factor is 0.95. The dynojet CF is 1.09. I also use a smoothing of 6, which is a better overall average.

So with a 1.09 CF and smoothing of 6, with a completely stock Fiesta ST with 100k miles I'm making about 175whp and 232wtq (compared to 151whp and 202wtq) on 93 octane. This is with a 165 lbs driver and none of the other factors tinkered with.

I'm partial towards the mustang CF because it keeps me from getting a big head about inflated numbers. Plus, really, it's about comparing revisions. It really doesn't matter which CF you use so long as you use the same ones.

I can understand that.

Well, here is the first E30 tune. We'll see how much blood Jason can squeeze from this old stone, but while it's not a huge improvement, it's a noticeable one.

Ignore the peak HP numbers toward the end on the Red 93 line. Purple is E30. I made about 10whp and 20wtq more (sooner) on E30 @ 161whp/216wtq.

60-100 time was about 8.72 seconds or about 1/2 second faster than my best 93 time.

Just for anyboy else's curiosity, using Dynojet #'s with a smoothing of 2 still puts me at no more than 185whp/254wtq. Dizzy's website was showing 233whp/320wtq with nothing but a panel filter and FMIC on E30. I've never seen an FMIC add 50whp. Hell, or even 20whp, but I may be comparing apples to oranges (real dyno vs vdyno).

It's going to be difficult for me to hold off on upgrading parts out of the sheer curiosity of what I could gain after maximizing what stock hardware will give me.

If I where you I'd just go to a real dyno for the sake of curiosity. I fiddled with the Vdyno and got the same weird curve upwards at the end. No idea as to why that happens.

I think it's a glitch from bouncing off the limiter. Car reads super lean in the logs when I hit redline from the fuel cut.

Then just cut the end off of your data so it's not included... But yes, choose to display your numbers however you want, but they are still under reported as it pertains to what everyone else uses to compare on each others cars and that's kind of the point of this thread, just saying... But yes, Jason's e30 numbers are a bit inflated somehow, I've never seen more than 223-224whp even being generous with the settings.... and no the intercooler doesn't "make" any HP, but if you have an upgrade then you can use a more aggressive tune. e30 is the great equalizer, don't even need the intercooler to max out the stock turbo anyway. I'd say that most stage 1 cars will make about 200/250, stage 2 (all BO's, no such thing as a real stage 3 with a stock turbo) will make about 210/265 and e30 about 220/300 (as far as average medium settings used to compare) if you have a stock turbo pretty much regardless of tune.

I'll meet you guys halfway, here is the Dynojet correction factor, but a smoothing of 6. I'm feeling better about the tuning process now, the gains on 93 were not impressive, but never were even on my old platform. Green is E30 revision, Red is E30 flashtune, Blue is final 93 revision. He just added a bit of timing to this first revision. However, one problem with the results is that the E30 flash, and 93 final were done under similar climate conditions. The E30 revision was done after almost a 30 degree temperature drop compared to the other two. And I don't know if he adjusted part throttle boost, but the car just feels more eager on this revision compared to the E30 flash, I was really having to put my foot in it to get it to go before.

AFR's are staying mostly around 12.2-12.4 except a little dip into the 11's early on boost is hitting at it's peak 24.5psi. That was a pretty substantial gain over the flashtune. I love ethanol.

This is likely the last revision, so long as Jason even deems it safe. He added a bit more timing. He did warn me that if I saw more ignition corrections than normal to add another gallon of ethanol. I'm not sure what was "normal" so I took 3 logs of my normal mix, then grabbed more E and took another 3 logs. I gained HP but lost just a bit of torque. Everything on my car is stock, except for step colder spark plugs. That being said, I'm making about +20whp/+33wtq over my 93 tune.

This graph is latest (E40?) vs my last E30 tune.

And this is latest tune E30 in orange, E40 in Green, same tune, taken within 30 minutes of eachother. The 3rd gear logs were similar, either torque was the same or lower on E40, but HP was up, we're talking about the difference of +/-5hp 5tq. My OAR's on E30 were running at -0.99

Mountune 91oct Stage 1 initial. Car's stock except for Mountune airbox with high flow filter. I always run 93oct top tier. Run was slightly uphill, so reading a little under probably. No wind. Light rain. 30.05in/Hg. 37F. I'm sure the drag effects of a wet road and light rain also skewed things, here it is anyway. I didn't pull to redline, it was cold, wet, and dark... nothing special. Wish I'd found out sooner Vdyno was free. I had JUST swapped out the paper filter for high flow and the comparison would've been nice.

Several members here including myself have not seen any improvement in spool, hp or tq with high flow filters. I run the paper filter as a result.

Does anyone have a graph of a JST E30 tune mixing with 91 octane? Curious to see how it compares to mine and curious about your mods.
