Okay, I'm having the same issue a few of y'all are having but in skimming the thread we didn't find the solution.

I haven't installed my backup camera so this might have worked and I'll know once it's enabled, but I have a 2017 that's been upgraded to Sync 3.4. The settings spreadsheet says to change the values to
2330 6105 C052.

However, my default values were 0130 6505 0074. We changed it to 0130 6105 C052 and nothing broke - hell, once I wire up the camera it might have even worked - but I'm curious as to what happened here that made those values SO different than expected.

When I programmed my backup camera, I changed X1XX XXXX XXXX => X3XX XXXX XXXX (where X is your current value i.e. leave it alone).

As far as I understand, different configurations of the car will have different default values.

Interesting! We will try that if the backup camera doesn't work when I install it - nothing broke changing the 5 to a 1, so that's good at least.

Did you ever get it figured out? I’m still at a complete loss here. Even if you didn’t get the camera wired up, it should have said something like “no camera detected” when you put it in reverse after programming it.

If that's the case, then no, because I don't have it wired up yet. I had a local guy with a laptop and FORSCAN knowledge do the programming (or whatever) with me, so next time he's available we can fuss with it again. I do intend to have the camera wired up this month, though, since my wiring harness finally arrived, it's just... well, you're in Oregon, you know what the weather's been like this week.

Just got my ST last night, it's a 17, so no OE camera.
Did any Fiesta models [18-19 STs?] have a backup camera as factory? Anyone tried to install the OE instead of one of the aftermarket options? The Amazon option is only $30, so that would be the way I'd likely go, but an OE install would be nice if the cost isn't a significant difference.
A quick Autotrader check found a 2019 here in Houston with [assuming] OE backup cam. Looks like the OE setup is also on the hatch release handle.
Part number D2BZ-19G490-E comes up when searching the parts catalog for a 2019 FiST. I assume you'd also need the bracket, and maybe a new hatch release. Easily >$100 that route.

My dad has a 2019, and the OE setup is not on the hatch release handle. It is next to it. In fact, it'd be more difficult to set up an OEM one in a 14-17 hatch, as the piece the handle mounts in has different cutout placements on 18-19 (hatch release handle is moved farther left of the Ford badge). I was looking, and an OEM backup camera would cost significantly more than getting something aftermarket on Amazon. I would suggest one of those you can find on Amazon that has the camera integrated with the handle, OR you could go for one that's integrated with a license plate light (if you don't mind the camera being wayyyyyy offset).

Thanks for that. In that case, I'll likely go with the option that integrates with the hatch release

Yes, 18s and 19s came with a backup camera standard from the factory. I believe all cars were required to start having them beginning with the 2018 model year.

When i did mine last year I tried the hatch release camera from amazon. The camera perspective was horribly off and had a bunch of other issues. I swapped to the license plate one and it was a lot better. Unfortunately the hatch button one requires irreversibly modifying your car to fit it, so now the OEM hatch button fit is loose.

I should also mention the license plate light camera is now failing on me after less than a year and I am going to have to take it apart and replace the camera again.

Luck of the draw, I suppose, with these inexpensive cameras. For the cost of doing an OE setup from a 2018-19, you could probably pick up 3-4 of these cheaper cameras.
This is probably top of my to-do list, even though the FiST is significantly easier to park than my former R57 MINI Convertible.

I would try your local junkyard, I have a few 2018-19 fiestas in local yards... It doesn't have to be an ST trim, it was standard for all fiestas in those years
