Valve cover was replaced? It's plastic, so warped? I have to deal with a similar leak soon...
Yeah my gasket went bad and had a slight leak. Several people recommended buying a new valve cover itself just in case it's warped. Plus if you buy a new cover it comes with the gasket pre installed, which was nice.

I double checked my old one and didn't see any warping after the swap, but I can sleep better at night knowing I shouldn't have to do this again anytime soon.

Wanted to start a thread where everyone can share what they did to their Fiesta ST on a daily basis. You can share whatever information you want as long as it's relevant to the Fiesta ST.[lovest]
Two days ago I finished replacing the stock transmission with a low mileage one bought through Pumaspeed, supposedly has a Quaife ATB but I can’t tell the difference. Included a new flywheel and ST200 pressure plate and disc. Couldn’t tell the difference to the ST180 one though. Vibratechnics RMM was the only mod that I could feel. Those who claim harshness/increase NVH are wrong. Next up will have to be the timing belt, then different rims, something 16” dia. The stock rims with 205/40s ride and perform poorly IMO. How do I increase turn in for this car? Has anyone installed a rear track bar, does that make a big difference? I’m a 2014 car, would buying shocks, struts and springs from a 2017 make for a better riding and handling car? Swapping out the transmission was a PITA, mostly solo working on weekends. Bought several tools that I’ll use once in my life. Ended up broke down - loose turbo hose, wire harness rubbing against half-axle, did a crank position sensor relearn. All fixed now and I love the car for really one thing - the steering.

With the valve closed, it is indistinguishable from stock on the inside. However, with the valve open it gives off SRT4 vibes and I dig it... I'll let you know once I get some longer drives with the system, I used v bands so I can easily swap in a resonator if the drone is unbearable🤷🏼‍♂️
What is the cost vs a cat-back?

You can get the part from Rockauto or Ford online parts, not discontinued?

Increase turn in? Are you serious? The Fiesta ST is ALL turn in. That's what I like best about it. Especially with the OEM performance tire, the Bridgestone RE050A (sadly no longer made). The steering is the number 1 thing that sold me on the Fiesta ST. I would guess that if you don't have good steering feel either somebody has messed it up with bad suspension choices or alignment, or the tires you have are not up to snuff.
