B- do you have a body shop you are going to use? If not let me know....
Wes, yeah it's at a really close family friend's body shop who does honestly the best body work I've seen around the area. He's already stated he's going to do everything he possibly for the car that he can knowing that I autocross the car and take it to the mountains.

Unfortunately our rematch looks like it'll have to wait since I won't have the car for the 18th autocross.

Managed to take this home from Focus Rising today. Pretty shocked I left with something but happy my preparation paid off.



Not sure what Rick's name here is with the 400whp FiSat, but that thing is insane. Congrats on your awards!

Finished my stereo install. The stock door speakers actually balance not that bad with my sub installed. I'll probably leave it like this for awhile

Replaced Motul DCTF fluid in tranny with Motul 300. So far so good. DCTF felt too thin like oem...although it did seem to lubricate slightly better.

Have over 100 miles with it and the 300 is settling nicely. Seems to get better the more I drive it unlike oem and DCTF.

Finally installed my mountune springs. Hoping that the front settles a little more! Very easy job with basic tools! Just had to rent a spring compressor.

They will settle a little after driving it. Do you notice any uneven ride height in the front or rear?

Rear is are sitting lower than front. But, it showed a drop instantly. The front has about 30 miles of driving, the rear about 2 miles. Not a big deal though, they feel great. Somehow softer, but more natural feeling. Less brake dive. I will get an alignment after a few days of settling.

Lowering a car effect toe settings quite a bit so waiting that long could end up in significant inner or outer tread wear that can continue to get worse as a wear pattern can set in.

Driving the car will settle the springs far quicker than parked, more bumps the same so if you drive a lot you only need a few days for settling to be done. Best not to really drive the car fast or work it hard in the corners until settled and then aligned.

OR, take a tape measure, some masking tape, check the toe and set it now then reset it later and use other simple tools to do the alignment DIY.

Alignment shops generally do sloppy work to be within a wide range of factory specs where are not very precise and often they do not setup the equipment right, best to learn and do your own alignments, I have since the 70s's including full out race cars.

What did you do to your Fiesta ST today?

Not today but over the weekend, blew the IC hose off and lost all boost of course. Took the bumper off the same day to grind down the grille. Also since my Injen exhaust likes to slide in the Cobb exhaust hangers and then hit the underbody and make noise we tacked on a washer to keep it from sliding.

I didn't do anything awesome. Just replacing the stock antenna with one from the S2000. While I quite like the stock one that comes with our cars, it does get in the way of the spoiler when the hatch is lifted. I am not too fond of the Perrin antenna, as it kinda look like a little apostrophe mark on the car. The S2000 antenna also has no reception problems, either.
