received the airbag cover to match the steering wheel. I'm iffy on the color selection I chose for the steering wheel and the airbag cover (the orange instead of going with red) but it looks really good nonetheless.

Recently finished up an intercooler install and Cobb Stage II flash. Banged third today and heard a loud pop with loss of torque. No lights or anything. When I parked I confirmed it was the drivers side intercooler hose. It’s a whoosh V1 with OEM hoses. Does anyone recommend upgrading the clamps or should I just put it back and tighten it up again?

I would definitely upgrade the clamps and possibly the hoses as well, I used to have a lot of issues on track with it popping off upgraded to the whoosh ones and no issues since.

Also, you could try the (unscented) hair spray hack as well to help keep said hoses on their IC inlet/outlet flanges.

What is the diameter for me to buy new T-bolt clamps? Just for the IC inlet/outlet?
The two Vibrant T-bolt clamps I used are “range 2.75 inches to 3.10 inches”. I only used them on the inlet/outlet of the intercooler. I bought the clamps from Summit Racing. Their part number is VPE-2793.

I couldn’t figure out a way to do it with the bumper cover on the car, but there’s plenty of people on the forum with much more expertise than I have. I’ll defer to them.
Thanks. I could definitely reach up in there to feel the hose was disconnected, but loathe the idea of taking that dumb thing off again for that. Definitely not trying until the new clamps show up tomorrow. My son has some super hold Mohawk gel that I’ll use to seal it up and make sure this is the last time I’m down there.
