vacuumed up all the water filling the spare tire tub following this weekend's downpour - carpool material. Could the sunroof drain tubes really drain this much while closed? Or maybe a split under the roof channel? Literally drips of the package shelf post behind the right rear seat. WT trunk liner actually catches some!

Sounds like a leak somewhere. If you're feeling brave, it's not that much work to drop the headliner - there are two pop rivets securing it to the roof (very easy to see if you are looking up from the trunk). Then you remove the C pillar, B pillar, and A pillar trim and it'll just drop down. Removing the A and C pillars is a nightmare because of all the weirdly angled clips, but the B pillar is like three clips and a T50 bolt. I just did this on Saturday while soundproofing the roof of the car.

Also, feel for moisture in your rear footwells. When I had the leaky sunroof, it was also dumping in there and I ended up getting black mold growing under the carpet, which is a nightmare to take out.

I've had this in my car. Turned out my hatch wasn't centered so it left a gap on the gasket. You gotta loosen up the hatch bolts and adjust it, trust me it took me a good 1.5 hrs of fiddling to get it centered just right. Then I had to adjust the striker a bit further inward for it to close tighter. After that I found my tail lights were still leaking a tiny bit so fixed that. And then I found out the body shop had plugged up my drains with glue so the sunroof was dripping down the sides into the rear passenger foot wells on both sides

While I wait for a replacement turbo, I found a used Schroth QuickFit Pro harness for the driver (along with Boomba Brake Deflectors) for $380 locally. Installed the harness this evening to test fit it, and boy does it feel good.

I shall not slide around in the seat now when on track/autoX. Brake Deflectors will get installed for actual track days so those are sticking in the box for now.

Installed JL Audio C1 650x coax speakers in rear door. Used custom printed adapters with some speaker foam tape to seal the speaker to the adapter and the adapter to the door. Was able to Dynamat about 75% of the inside of the metal door panel and a few of the larger flats inside the door card.
I have the Sony Processing turned off with FORSCAN.

Will be doing the fronts hopefully tomorrow. In order to install the inline hipass filter I need 2 male spade connectors that are super slim. Probably either 1/8 or 1/16. Harbor Freight had nothing under 1/4. Gonna fart around the rest of the day and relax now. Will save my opinion on sound after I get the front components installed.

Finally installed a custom steering wheel from Aliexpress just in time for Nürburgring next week. Just on the little local drives it feels amazing. Literally cannot wait to go rip it on some turns. These new Vega rear window vents also came in and fit in so nicely if I don’t say so myself. IMG_6555.png IMG_6465.jpeg

un-F'd the wiring and loomed/tidied it up, finished the soundproofing. Obviously I could have been a little bit more precise in how I cut everything but whatever, that's not going to make a difference.

How did you get the airbag to match up? Did you have to buy a Euro airbag separately, and was it plug and play after the fact?
