Trying to figure out why my rear driver brake is braking unevenly. You can see in the pics the black area is where my pads aren't contacting and the cleaner area is where it's grabbing with no brakes applied. When driving I hear no noises. Under braking I can hear it going squeak squeak so it's definitely only grabbing one part of the rotor and I'm not sure why. Caliper pins are perfect condition and lubed up moving completely freely but once the caliper is on it feels bent or something
The backside of the pads have little nubs on them that have to be located properly inside the + on the face of the piston. If they arent seated in the grooves it will make the pad sit unevenly. I made this mistake the first time I changed the rear pads.

Do I have to go to work tomorrow🤔🤔 View attachment 68102
Well that was an easy install, hot side charge pipe sounds so much better you actually get the whistle of the turbo instead of rushing air!

DV+ feels fantastic and the difference is pretty noticeable especially that 1-2 shift...

Bad news is swapping fluid didn't help with my first gear synchro issue😭 I guess I'll be saving up for a tranny and maybe building this one when it goes...

Maybe I need to hit the bong to understand what the hell I'm looking at here lol
Yes, an old home theater stereo (6 input capable) with handmade corner speakers off marketplace for 100 bucks. One of the inputs is the car stereo from a 2002 f150 with the 6 disc changer out of the backseat too. Current CD lineup on the left. The blue box converts those speaker level inputs into rca inputs connected to the Yamaha unit. Car stereo powered off a 12v transformer on one of the 120v Yamaha switches outlets. Also have Bluetooth on another input, with room for a tv, record player, etc etc on the other 4 available inputs.

Same thing happened to me. I bought a new door card rather than try to glue it back.
Probably what I should have done. Instead I jerry rigged these things I got off Amazon. PXL_20251015_204401938.MP.jpg
The door panel has a pad with two additional attachment points for the factory handle that is not accounted for in the one piece handles I bought so they don't fit flush. I had to buy some longer screws and stack a bunch of washers on the top screw to keep them from twisting. PXL_20251015_202839991.jpg
It seems like those two extra plugs are one time install cause I'm pretty sure I broke them taking off the passenger side handle. Probably why Ford just replaced the whole panel.

I have the same handle on the drivers side b/c my cover wouldn’t stay on. I just switched the long and short screws and drilled the one hole to further countersink the short screw to get it to work.
