I'm in The Woodlands/Spring, so not too far from you.
I saw a black FiST on some dark gray aftermarket wheels in this area a couple weeks ago [Sam Moon shopping center, N of The Woodlands] but was in our Expedition.
Yeah I've only had my car for a little over a year tho so that's the amount of time I've been observing tho. You thinking about aftermarket rims? If you ever wanna drop your black stocks I'll take em if they don't got any curb rash

Nah, I'm in no rush to change anything yet. Mad at myself for curbing the LF the week after I got it.
Not bad, but definitely more noticeable on black wheels

I made an interest post for making a small run for the 986/SVT Brake Kit brackets. We’ll see what kind of response we get from everyone here:

For visibility, I’ve actually kicked off an order of custom Porsche/SVT brake brackets and put down money with the machine shop. Two sets still available as of right now, though if those sell, I could get an additional 5 made if I let the shop know by Friday.

Where you located in Texas? Im in Porter and have only ever seen one other FiST. Washing your car is a ritual to hail for Zeus apparently lol. Works every time!

Campbell/Greenville/Commerce area here. I've spotted a few FoSTs in the area but no FiSTs.

Added some Amazon window visors:

I do like them. Wish they were tinted and not just black plastic but they’re fine. Fit is B+ too. Pretty good but not exactly perfectly following the door curve. Definitely high Fiesta quality if you know what I mean.
I’m just glad I’ll be able to leave my windows cracked. This is way easier than removing the sunroof and fixing whatever is leaking into the trunk and fogging up my windows when parked.

Trying to figure out why my rear driver brake is braking unevenly. You can see in the pics the black area is where my pads aren't contacting and the cleaner area is where it's grabbing with no brakes applied. When driving I hear no noises. Under braking I can hear it going squeak squeak so it's definitely only grabbing one part of the rotor and I'm not sure why. Caliper pins are perfect condition and lubed up moving completely freely but once the caliper is on it feels bent or something

I broke the inside door handle on the driver's door. Anyone have a recommendation for a replacement? I see a bunch on eBay that are one piece which is fine, I just don't want to wait for a container to show up from China before getting my hands on something.

That would ordinarily indicate that the rotor is warped.

I guess I'll swap side to side and see if the issue transfers. I just installed the rotors a few hundred miles ago and the issue was there from the start. My previous rotors also had the same issue on the same driver side rear caliper. Maybe my caliper is bad cuz it kinda felt like it didn't wanna rewind all the way back in? I'll have to swap the rotors and go from there. Thanks

Did you clean the hub face? Rust build up can cause uneven wear/seating of the rotor

Did you get the pads in correctly? There is a keyway that needs to line up with the pads in the rear when being serviced. [driving]

I got the EBC redstuff pads and there is no grove on them like the OEM. Just flat backing plates on all 4 pads. I don't believe that should cause an issue as all 3 other brakes work fine with no drag.

Same thing happened to me. I bought a new door card rather than try to glue it back.
