Fueled up for first revision on my E50 tune. Already getting some pretty good numbers at least based on Vdyno.

Just wish there was some easier to get E, I'm having to do E98 and it's not cheap.
I hear that, E85 at the pump is non existent here in AZ😩

Replaced all motor mounts. Awr 88a transmission, VibraTechnics competition RMM and street passenger side mount. The nvh isn't bad although it does vibrate significantly more, which I don't mind. I noticed at idle now there is a loud high pitched whine, only present when the clutch pedal is released. Kinda worrying me a bit...

Well the noise is gone now. I guess the bushings just had to get shaken a bit

I've only seen E98 for sale at a pump in one single location, at the same station which sold E85 locally to me (back then, 7 years ago when I lived in Bucks County), Omega Fuels in Horsham, Pa. (or right near the border of Horsham in Warrington?), but they are LONG gone now. :(

I'm buying from a local performance shop Kaizen Speed. 10 dollars a gallon
My FiST is still my daily, but since I don't commute anymore it's less painful.

I moved from Texas to Washington, Going from E85 on every corner to none has been a shock. But the FiST craves the corn

VDyno of the first revision.

I'm chasing a leak today. It's back by the rear passenger wheel.

I'll just put a bunch of epoxy or silicone down and call it solved. It looks like whoever matted the car didn't leave enough room around this seal and it leaks a tiny bit

I also have a passenger door seal leak that I'm just not gonna deal with. As far as I can tell I'd have to replace the whole strip. I think that's 4 leaks ive had in this car. Weird.

Some kind of Dynamat, or similar, is on my eventually list. Just to quiet the cabin a bit. Pretty low priority overall. Will need tires well before then, and definitely before any heavy rain. Negotiated nearly the cost of a set of tires off the purchase price.
Leaning toward Pilot Sport AS4. Had the AS3+ on our former Flex and they were fantastic all-around use tires.
2nd choice is the Potenza RE980AS+. Had the 980AS on a Mercedes C300, not as good of a tire as the AS3+ but at $300 less installed was fine for a daily.

I'm pretty happy the previous owner matted this car. Idk what product they used but it works alright. My fist isn't quiet but it's rarely loud.

I've matted cars and it's up there with paint/body work. It's so much time. A shit job makes a huge difference. I'm glad I didn't have to do it, lol.

Check under the taillights? I haven't pulled my bumper cover off yet but I was definitely getting water from under the lights.

I just went nuts with the silicone. Will it work? Who knows.

I tried to create a route so the water will go down the side. I also put silicone in all the fastener holes and just about anything I could find, including behind the lights. I'll have to redo it whenever I change a bulb, I guess.

What a weird design by Ford.

Here's a google photos link with some video. https://photos.app.goo.gl/7vdNt1DJRbkwnt9a7 In case you were wondering, I had foam leftover. I have no idea where they were putting all this foam, lol.

@Cneu - I have a water intrusion (leak) thread...
https://www.fiestastforum.com/threads/water-intrusion-issue-resolved.23553/post-435429
...that will contain the answers to the issues.
Haha thanks. I just went nuts with the silicone so hopefully I got the rear leaks fixed up. I hit most of them that I could think of. I nearly broke my ankle yesterday so I'm not dealing with a bumper today. Luckily my sunroof doesn't leak yet.

Will report back maybe.

We don't know to what degree they did this, but apparently Ford used tape in place of some grommets. Tape is temporary so literally everyone who has the factory tape job will have these leaks.
