What did you do to your Fiesta ST today ?

I just had to do my driver's side for the first time, it was stuck on the front dash outlets😮‍💨

Fun! I haven't had to replace that one yet, but I did my recirculate door with a dorman part about two weeks ago, and one of my two screw holes were stripped. The joys of an 180k mile car.

I actually just used a cheap one since I figured I'd be in there again anyways and it was same day delivery... It took forever to defrost my windshield during that one week of winter we got

Dorman was very fast delivery on Amazon and basically the same price as it was on RockAuto so I figured I'd go that route... plus they'd replace it if it broke as it has a warranty (i believe)

My driver's side actuator, the one that determines the air direction, went out for the second time about 2 weeks ago. While I'm waiting for my garage to get a part fortunately it just clicks for about 10 seconds before and after you turn the HVAC on and then stops. Those little suckers are loud.

Dorman was very fast delivery on Amazon and basically the same price as it was on RockAuto so I figured I'd go that route... plus they'd replace it if it broke as it has a warranty (i believe)

Yeah I think it was like 2 day shipping, but I was impatient lol

I must be one of the lucky ones. I've only had one replaced, under warranty, in the 11yrs I've had the car.

103k on mine & no issues that I've noticed. Unknown if they were ever replaced by the PO.
Now, if I could get the auto A/C to work at normal settings. Auto @ 76* seems to be 'normal' as compared to 72* in my Expedition.

I hardly ever use my A/C. I only use it if it gets into triple digits. Normally, I use the free air from outside!

Painted the chrome on my wheel. Rust oleum 2x satin black. Not sure if I should've went with flat black? What do y'all think?

Also used FORScan and changed my tire size. These light wheels feel so much better

Too much humidity in Houston for that, most of the time.
I'd noticed that Auto @ 72 it would run at max AC at startup, for a minute or so, before settling down. And would still ice you out. 76 seems to be the happy medium, which just seems inaccurate compared to all my other auto AC equipped cars before. 72 was always the ideal setting.

I just manually set my AC 🤷🏻‍♂️ It's what I'm used to doing.

That looks great, have thought about similar. Is that part removable? Or did you do it in place?

Yep. You use some kinda stick to push the airbag release springs, on the backside of the steering wheel. Then use a Torx10 bit to remove the chrome part, again on the back side. Then a T8 to remove the buttons so you can paint.
Next imma remove the ST badge at the bottom and do something. That one just pulls out with glue
