What did you do to your Fiesta ST today ?

I don't notice much front lift, but mine hasn't been 90+ much, and only in a straight line..

Put on a skid plate from ADF Customs.

I added the "labels."

I put it on mostly for aerodynamics- I suspect it will enhance downforce. I have 1/4" ABS sheet that I'm going to put on the remaining rough spots on the underbody.

What is the thickness (in fractions of an inch or millimeters) of that plate?

I have to fully remove the Skid Plate Guys bash guard from my car when doing oil changes when it is installed, which is just as well, since I use the longer oil filter, and would never ever be able to finagle it out using that filter hatch in the ADF plate.
(I struggle greatly with removing that filter around all of the hoses/fittings/radiator shroud flaps, etc., even with nothing at all 'extra' in the way!)

According to their website, it's type 5052 .09" Aluminum. That's 2.3 mm.

I fabricated the left side under body aero panel today. Created a cardboard template, then cut and shaped the panel from a 3 mm 4'x8' ABS sheet. I've never worked with ABS before, so it was a bit of a learning curve. I haven't attached it yet, but that will involve rivet nuts and stand-offs as appropriate.

FWIW high temp here in KC today was 5F. While I managed to get the workshop up to 50F with my kerosene heater, heating the ABS to bend it was still a time consuming process.

Damn that looks good. Maybe after I find where my oil seep is coming from I'll get one of these.

I put on new Brake Pads (Ford OEM) and Rotors (Powerstop Drilled and Slotted) and finally did the Shifter Base Bushings while the Fiesta is in the garage. Have the fluid and new Stainless Steel lines but will probably do those closer to a trackday (Just to have fresh fluid). And before people ask why OE Pads, if its good enough for ST Octane Academy its good for my ratty old Fiesta.

Probably doesn’t help to suggest that as soon as you put the skid plate on, it will be reallly obvious where the oil seep is coming from vs trying to look for spots on the ground 🤣

Granted I don't track or autocross by car (yet) but I have no complaints with the OE pads and rotors. Even with the LSD and Dizzy tune they've been great for aggressive street driving.

Now that I have a space to work, I’m finally ticking thing off the to-do list.

last night I got a whoosh short shifter adapter with solid bushings, likewise reverse lockout, and a redline leather shift boot.

I also did an antenna “delete” not sure if it’s going to stay exactly like that. I may print a flange to cover it a bit more. For those interested it’s an m5 three and I used a Brake lever bleed screw from a SRAM mountain bike brake. Extra nice, because it’s a exactly the right length, and is designed with an o-ring flange.

I finished my brake rotors/pads/lines job. Ran the ABS Bleed procedure on all four corners in forscan and my pedal is still spongy. Not sure at all what the hell it could be, if anyone has any idea's I'm all ears

The drain plug & filter were both insanely tight.
I'd ordered a Fumoto F106N, turns out the body is too big & hits the oil pan after about 1 thread engages. Looking at the invoice, I ordered it in Nov...hope they have a generous return policy.

Also put in some LED bulbs in the foglights. Had a spare pair of H11 Auxito that I ordered mistakenly for our Expedition. Haven't driven it at night yet, but should be a nice improvement over halogen.

I’ve been thinking about installing a fumoto. I did some research and found some YouTube videos that said you need an adapter. Not sure if you tried that. I’ve got the parts here and I’ll try installing them in my next oil change. I took a screenshot of what they installed on the YouTube video. Looks like it worked well for them.
